BOULCE'

The oak surface is treated with natural oil to enhance the value of the material and protect it, leaving the surface with its original textured appeal. This type of finish creates a specific aesthetic look, brightening up the grain patterns and enhancing their appeal: instead of evening out the material, it brings out the differences and uniqueness while creating a protective layer.

The wood pore is left open, to showcase this living material that changes over time. The door leaf is veneered with several layers of prized sliced wood veneers, joined with vertical and horizontal grain patterns. The outer surface features horizontal grain patterns, with pantographed decorative incisions that are cut into the material to reveal the vertical grain patterns in the layer underneath.
