AGB's standard mechanical mortise lock — the body that sits behind most of our residential interior leaves. Polaris 2XT is the latch + deadbolt workhorse: low-friction action, hardened bolt, and the full BB / PZ / WC entry range so a single lock body covers passage, keyed, and bathroom doors. We default to this body whenever a project doesn't call for the magnetic Wave or the fire-rated Centro.

Function

Latch + deadbolt mortise. The latch is a standard spring-return for everyday passage; the deadbolt extends only when keyed (PZ), thumb-turned (BB), or in the WC privacy variant.

Variants

BB (bathroom thumb-turn), PZ (Euro-cylinder), and WC (privacy turn with emergency release). Same body, three faceplates — specified per door function.

Compatibility

Pairs with the full DND, Tupai, and Fimet handle catalogs on this site. Standard backsets and spindle sizes; no special handle prep required.

Where we specify it

The default body on our CB and GD interior swing doors when a project does not call for Wave (magnetic), Centro (fire-rated), or Touch (no-lock magnetic catch).
