Locks the open pull-out shelf securely in place — and releases with one hand.

A pull-out shelf is only as useful as it is stable: the moment you lift a stand mixer, sort laundry into a basket, or lean on a reference binder, the shelf must not roll back into the cabinet. Blum's pull-out shelf lock holds the open shelf securely in place with a discreet, space-saving mechanism that engages automatically on both sides the moment the shelf reaches full extension.
Releasing it is just as considered. Integrated synchronization rods connect the two locking units, so a light lift of the lever on either side releases both locks together — genuine one-handed operation, even with the other arm full. The synchronization rod is cut to length, so the lock adapts to any shelf width.
The lock mounts to Blum's MOVENTO and TANDEM concealed runners, which means the shelf keeps its feather-light glide and full extension. Assembly is a simple three-step process: attach the locking units to the synchronization rod, position the assembly flush against the shelf, and secure the latching elements to the runners with wood screws.
