Opera iControl

The electronic version of Opera. Opera iControl is a self-contained electronic lock body — RFID card readers, Bluetooth mobile-key support, and PIN keypads all run on internal batteries with no wiring to the leaf. The lock keeps Opera Twin's anti-panic egress and EN 1634 fire-rating, then adds an audit trail of every entry so housekeeping, maintenance, and guests are all visible to the front desk. The default lock body for new hotel and serviced-apartment construction.

Credentials

RFID card (MIFARE 1K / DESFire), mobile-key over Bluetooth (iOS / Android app), and 4–6 digit PIN. Any combination — guests get cards, staff get apps, deliveries get one-time PINs.

Power & wiring

Self-contained: 4× AA cells deliver roughly two years of normal-use battery life. No wiring runs to the door, no power supply at the head, no junction at the hinge.

Audit trail

Every entry attempt — successful or denied — is logged with timestamp and credential. Trail is exported to housekeeping or front-desk software over Bluetooth.
