Wave is AGB's reinvention of the standard mortise. The latch is replaced with a recessed magnetic block that draws into the strike as the leaf approaches, eliminating the click of a spring-return tongue and the friction that wears at every cycle. Door closes silently, opens with a featherweight handle pull, and lasts longer because there's no metal-on-metal at the latch. Same BB / PZ / WC variants as Polaris — the quiet upgrade for projects where the door noise matters.

The latch without the click.

Magnetic latch

A flush magnetic block in the leaf draws into a steel keeper in the frame. No spring, no tongue, no metal-on-metal contact — the door closes with a soft pull, not a click.

Mechanical deadbolt

The deadbolt is unchanged from the conventional mortise — same hardened steel bolt, same key turn, same security. Magnetic action only replaces the passage latch.

Variants

Same BB (bathroom), PZ (Euro), and WC (privacy turn) configurations as Polaris. Direct upgrade path — the prep is identical.

Where we specify it

Master suites, libraries, study doors, anywhere the spring-return click of a Polaris would be audible enough to register. The premium upgrade in the AGB swing range.
